On May 28, 2026, it was announced that the 2026 Georgia football season would mark the final season content creation for Butterfly Dawg Productions.  After the 2026 football season BDP will return to just a archival library with over 100+ hours of Georgia football games.  Creator and founder of ButterflyDawg Productions Mo(UGAHoopsshinobu)said the following on the May 27th live stream  "I thank everyone so so much for the support over the last handful of years it has been a absolutely dream come true making content for the Georgia fans. I am very sorry to inform everyone that this season will be the last. And the reason is with recent changes with the radio broadcast I don't feel a need to do it anymore. I love the Georgia bulldogs very very much and one of my favorite things to do ever, is to listen to old games while I do something. It does not matter if it is working out side- or playing Super Mario party jamboree, matter of fact we played Mario party just last night and I listened to the 2007 Georgia vs Arkansas basketball game(Steve Newman buzzer beater game) That is one of my favorite games I have listened too Georgia at one point down 9 with less than a minute to play, Steve Newman hits 2 straight 3 pointers, Sundiata Gaines hit a 3 pointer then Steve Newman hit the game winning 3 point from the hog logo in the Arkansas arena Scott's call went like this "Holds it high to Newman long threeee GOOOOOOOD HOLY SMOKES!"   The 2026 Georgia bulldogs football season is supposed to kick-off September 5th vs Tennessee state. This football season will start with new voices on the airwaves of the Georgia bulldogs sports network. On April 24th it was announced that the long time "Voice of the Dawgs" Scott Howard would not be returning to the broadcast booth. Scott who was supposed to enter his 34th season as the radio play by play man was unexpectedly and shockingly forced out of doing football at Georgia so that sets the scene for this story.  :Disclaimer: I am super happy for Jeff Dantzler he is a true DGD and he is one I look up too so much and he is going to do great.
