I love the Georgia bulldogs very very much and one of my favorite things to do ever, is to listen to old games while I do something. It does not matter if it is working out side- or playing Super Mario party jamboree, matter of fact we played Mario party just last night and I listened to the 2007 Georgia vs Arkansas basketball game(Steve Newman buzzer beater game) That is one of my favorite games I have listened too Georgia at one point down 9 with less than a minute to play, Steve Newman hits 2 straight 3 pointers, Sundiata Gaines hit a 3 pointer then Steve Newman hit the game winning 3 point from the hog logo in the Arkansas arena Scott's call went like this "Holds it high to Newman long threeee GOOOOOOOD HOLY SMOKES!" More than a voice....

  The 2026 Georgia bulldogs football season is supposed to kick-off September 5th vs Tennessee state. This football season will start with new voices on the airwaves of the Georgia bulldogs sports network. On April 24th it was announced that the long time "Voice of the Dawgs" Scott Howard would not be returning to the broadcast booth. Scott who was supposed to enter his 34th season as the radio play by play man was unexpectedly and shockingly forced out of doing football at Georgia so that sets the scene for this story.  :Disclaimer: I am super happy for Jeff Dantzler he is a true DGD and he is one I look up too so much and he is going to do great. This article has NO and I mean NO rudeness towards JD at all because he is a top tier person and broadcaster.  The day was January 2nd 2021 it was the day after Georgia's thrilling victory over Cincinnati. Georgia schedules South Carolina State and (Unofficially) St Johns in the Bahamas

 A absolutely stunning day for Georgia Basketball the day started with the announcement that Georgia would play South Carolina State Sunday December 29th... and now the word that Georgia will(unofficially) to play St Johns in the Bahamas!!  LET'S GOO

Georgia takes on them!

 Georgia takes on that team in Atlanta today! The Dogs are coming off a win over Mercer. Georgia has not beat Georgia tech since 2019 if the bee's win today it will be 3 in a row we cannot let that happen! This game matters more than anything this is a huge game. Georgia will have to play it's best game of the year to win this game that how much it matters. Georgia tech is coming off wins vs #21 Mississippi state and #7 Duke which was very very impressive. So Georgia will have trouble with them but we are better than them! and we can beat them! To hell with Georgia tech! GO hoop dawgs!

Georgia takes on Florida State in the ACC/SEC Challenge

 Georgia will travel to Tallahassee FL to take on the Florida State Seminoles in the ACC/SEC Challenge. FSU leads the Series 19-10 the last game being in the 1981-82 season Georgia won 70-67. Former Bulldog coach Hugh Durham played and coached for FSU in the 60s and 70s as well that was just a interesting fact. The SEC leads the challenge at the moment 4-3 a Georgia win would be nice for the SEC. Georgia struggled alot in our last game vs Winthrop we will have to play better(Later) than we did to win this game.. FSU did lose to FL a week or so ago but they are 4-1 and still they look really really good. This will the last road trip for the dogs for while as every game in the month of December will be at home let's get this win! Go Hoop Dawgs!

Georgia loses to Miami in Bahamas opener

 It was a tough game for the Hoop Dawgs as we lose 79-68 to Miami in the opener of the Bahamas Championship. Georgia and Miami started the game cold but Georgia then went on a 10-0 run then Miami answered and went on a 19-4 run the Dawgs we're losing at halftime. Unfortunately it was too much as Miami then went out to man handle the hoop Dawgs the rest of the game. It just sucks that Georgia isn't one of those teams that can rebound after a scoreless drought gg to Miami they played a good game. The bright spots for Georgia was Blue Cain and Silas Demary Jr these dudes are absolutely excellent im so glad we have them on our team. Later in the night Kansas state beat Providence in OT meaning the Hoop Dawgs will play Providence at 12pm on Sunday. Let's win this game! Go hoop Dawgs!
