Mo's Georgia Hoop Dogs Blawg

 Georgia will travel to Tallahassee FL to take on the Florida State Seminoles in the ACC/SEC Challenge. FSU leads the Series 19-10 the last game being in the 1981-82 season Georgia won 70-67. Former Bulldog coach Hugh Durham played and coached for FSU in the 60s and 70s as well that was just a interesting fact. The SEC leads the challenge at the moment 4-3 a Georgia win would be nice for the SEC. Georgia struggled alot in our last game vs Winthrop we will have to play better(Later) than we did to win this game.. FSU did lose to FL a week or so ago but they are 4-1 and still they look really really good. This will the last road trip for the dogs for while as every game in the month of December will be at home let's get this win! Go Hoop Dawgs!    

 It was a tough game for the Hoop Dawgs as we lose 79-68 to Miami in the opener of the Bahamas Championship. Georgia and Miami started the game cold but Georgia then went on a 10-0 run then Miami answered and went on a 19-4 run the Dawgs we're losing at halftime. Unfortunately it was too much as Miami then went out to man handle the hoop Dawgs the rest of the game. It just sucks that Georgia isn't one of those teams that can rebound after a scoreless drought gg to Miami they played a good game. The bright spots for Georgia was Blue Cain and Silas Demary Jr these dudes are absolutely excellent im so glad we have them on our team. Later in the night Kansas state beat Providence in OT meaning the Hoop Dawgs will play Providence at 12pm on Sunday. Let's win this game! Go hoop Dawgs! 

  The time has finally come for the University of Georgia Men's basketball to play the biggest game of the season.  The hoop Dawgs will head to the Bahamas to take on the Miami Hurricanes.  Miami looks REALLY good  Miami last season they went 29-8 with 13-2 record in non-conference. Georgia will absolutely have a hard time Friday. Georgia's last game was vs North Carolina Central in a game where Georgia struggled almost the entire game vs NCCU but put it away late in the second half.  Slow starts in the second half has Doomed Georgia in the loss to Oregon and almost vs NCCU we will have to start quick and fast vs Miami because that could be a game if we start slow we won't be able to come back from that. So Georgia just needs to do what we usually do and that's play great basketball if we do that we'll be fine SO... Georgia will hopefully beat Miami LET'S GOOO HOOP DAWGS.

 Georgia had a tough time vs the eagles on NCCU but the hoop Dawgs hung on!  I want to apologize to NCCU fans I said i thought this game would be over at halftime but the Eagles straight showed out and played a great game.  The hoop Dawgs played a okay game we have to and will get better. Georgia's next game will be Friday vs Miami! Go hoop Dawgs! 

 After a huge win over Wake Forest Friday night Georgia takes on North Carolina Central. Georgia has opened as 21 point favorites i believe we'll cover that if you're a betting man.  This is the second ever meeting between Georgia and North Carolina Central. The only match up between the teams was in 2019-20 When Georgia beat NCC 95-59.  Four Bulldogs  had double digit days as Anthony Edwards had 21 points Rayshaun Hammonds had 19 points Tyree Crump had 16 and Christian Brown had 11. Georgia hopefully will continue to play great and beat NCC... I could happen but I personally just don't see North Carolina Central giving the Hoop Dawgs a hard time. Go hoop Dawgs! 

 Let me first by saying WOW HOW ABOUT THOSE HOOP DAWGS!  Georgia beats Wake Forest 80-77 in a incredible basketball game. This truly was of runs Wake Forest started out strong then Georgia went on a 20-4 run late in the first half. Georgia then came out in the second half prepared and boy oh boy was it fun to watch.  Noah Thomasson played lights out with 21 points including some clutch 3s and a killer stepback. Jabri Abdur-Rahim shot the 3 good night as well. Big Russell Tchewa under the basketball did his thing  RJ Melendez and Silas Demary Jr. had 10 points as well.  Overall amazing effort by the boys tonight Georgia and Wake Forest as well played a amazing basketball game this was one of the best games in Georgia basketball history!  Georgia will be back in action Sunday vs UNC Central!  Georgia will take on Wake Forest on Friday here is a few things you need to know about it. Georgia is coming off a 82-71 loss to Oregon in a game where Georgia had a horrible first half but a super strong second half. Georgia got within 2 and 4 a few times but the bad 1st half was too much to overcome.  Georgia will have to play great the entire game to win this one as Wake forest came back from 23 points vs Elon to win 101-70. Georgia and Wake Forest played last year as the Dawgs 2nd half rally feel short 81-71. Georgia and Wake Forest have played a few times Georgia leads the series with Wake forest 4-3. The first ever meeting was in 1912 Georgia won 70-28 they would play in Jacksonville in 1964 and UGA would lose 83-76 but now we'll get to the major meetings. in 1999-200 Georgia played Wake Forest in ATL for what was perhaps the greatest matchup with under 5 seconds left Wake Forest hits a lay up to take the lead and then Georgia throws it across the court to Adrian Jones who h

 Georgia suffered a stinging loss to the Oregon ducks in Las Vegas Monday. The slow first half along with bad play overall doomed the Hoop Dawgs,Georgia lead 1-0 and that was it they would never lead again. The hoop Dawgs showed right as they would make two rallies in the end of the 1st and the end of the second but it would all be for nothing.  The good thing was  Jabri Abdur-Rahim had a team high 18 points he looked awesome.  RJ Melendez and Blue Cain each had double figures as well the both had  12 points and  Silas Demary Jr impressed me as well.   The University of Georgia will open its 119th season of basketball in Las Vegas vs the Oregon ducks! In a season where they're are HIGH expectations for the Georgia basketball team here is everything you need to know for the game. For historical reasons we'll start with this- this will be the second all time meeting between Georgia and Oregon as Oregon won the only previous meeting between the two schools in 1975 87-74 hopefully Georgia can make it a 1-1 Record!  Georgia returns some key players from last years team  Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe  Jabri Abdur-Rahim Frank Anselem-Ibe and Justin Hill the Hoop Dawgs lose Kario Oquendo which oddly enough transfered to Oregon so that means Georgia will play him!  Oregon made the NIT qatuerfinals last season so they do have some experience in big games they're best players are  Jermaine Couisnard and  N'Faly Dante definitely some guys that will impact this game and Georgia will have to make sure they try to control.
